Title21 Software, CEO, Lynn Fischer, will be a member of the panel discussion: “Paving the Way to High Quality Medical and Wellness Care” at Innovation Tri-Valley’s Medical Innovation Forum on Wednesday, July 23rd.

To showcase some of the brilliant minds and businesses that are leading society into a more effective, high quality medical care, Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group is presenting “How Medical Innovation is Changing Your World,” on Wednesday, July 23 from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Elizabeth Cantwell, a committee member for the forum said “What you will see at this forum are models for innovation partnerships between public and private entities, where you will be able to learn about groundbreaking applications and ideas. The network of ideas from these partnerships is instrumental to the success of these advancements and is not limited to medical research. Believing in the Possible
Moderated by noted press figures, the day will feature two panels of experts. The closing speaker is Faz K. Bashi, Chair, Life Science Syndication – Angel Capital Association. His theme, “Technology and Venture Capitalism – Believing in the Possible” will shed some light on how these ideas, inventions, and innovations become funded.
How Partnerships Create Innovation
The first panel will focus on “Medical Technology – How Partnerships Create Innovation and How That Impacts You.” Did you know 3D imaging is being used extensively in creating new devices that will change the way the medical world works? This panel will include Rich Stump, co-founder of FATHOM, the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest 3D printing production center. Joining him will be Lawrence Livermore Lab Director for Economic Development Elizabeth Cantwell, Malin Young, the Director of Bioscience and Material Science at Sandia National Lab, and Don Bitting, Program Director, Research Business Development at IBM. They will showcase how partnerships between the National Labs and private enterprise are critical to the success of innovation in, not only the medical world, but in all areas of research and development. Rounding out the panel is Ted Tarasow, Vice President of Product Development for Healthtell, a fast growing life sciences company based here in the Tri-Valley that has developed OneTest™—a powerful new technology for the early detection and monitoring of progressive diseases such as cancer.
Paving the Way to High Quality Medical and Wellness Care
The second panel of the afternoon will be “Paving the Path to High Quality Medical and Wellness Care.” Scott Gregerson, CEO of ValleyCare Health System, will be joined by Rahul Parikh, MD with Permanente Regional Technology, where he helps to lead technology projects that connect Kaiser Permanente members to their physicians and health system. Jason Paragas, Deputy Program Director of Biosecurity for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory serves as the focal point for the Biological Application for Advanced Strategic Computing initiative that will enable predictive biology for national and global security through multi-scale simulation. He’ll explain exactly what that means. Completing this panel will be a representative from SAP sharing its game-changing developments, and Lynn Fischer, CEO of Title 21 Software, an innovative tech firm delivering highly configurable, integrated solutions to help health care and life science companies gain regulatory compliance, reduce costs, improve quality and achieve a paperless environment. Her strategic initiatives have resulted in Title21 Software becoming the “go-to” solution in blood banking for process improvement and quality management.
